No more translation within the site – sorry!
We have just updated the site and included a lot of improvements. More to follow on that.
We have had to leave out the Google Translate feature from the new site. The is because Google are discontinuing the API from December 1st onwards. We are really sorry about this as we know our international users have been using it. There is a solution however. If you search for Mapometer in Google and then press the “Translate” Button to the right of the link. It looks like this:

New site looks good but I have two issues with it. The “show elevation” button isn’t working – when I click it, it opens up a section at the bottom but doesn’t show the graph. Instead there just appears the description of what mapometer is.
Secondly, when I click on “clear route”, it successfully clears the route, but then when I try to stop the recording and start all over again, it carries on from my previous route. I have to log out of the web site then back in again to do this properly.

Site looks good but tried amending a route and it wouldn’t show the map to allow me to do it. Deleted the route and attempted to create a new route, but still no map.

Hi John
Sorry you are having problems. We are trying to work out what is wrong at then moment as most people are not reporting any issues but we have had a dozen emails with the same problem as yours. Are any error messages appearing on your browser? IE error messages appear at the bottom of the browser if you click on the yellow triangle.
We are hoping that it is a DNS related error. DNS servers get updated every 24 hours at different times so hopefully within the next 24 hours it will be resolved. We are exploring other possibilities though.
Thanks
James

Hi
I think we have fixed the altitude and clear route issues now.
