The Cucamonga Challenge is an annual event open to all ages and skill levels sponsored by the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail to promote family, fun, and fitness while raising funds to enhance the 21-mile regional Pacific Electric fitness trail.

2018 marks the 13th annual spring event taking place on the Pacific Electric Trail (P.E.Trail), a multi-purpose public rail-trail path created from an abandoned railroad corridor.

Each participant chooses one (1) event:

  • 5K (Timed)

  • 10K (Timed)

  • Half Century Bike Ride (Not Timed)

  • 25-mile Bike Ride (Not Timed)

The 5K & 10K will be on the P.E. Trail while the cycling events start on the P.E. Trail and continues onto the city streets. The streets are not blocked off and all riders must obey ALL traffic laws. Helmets required.
