Description

The 38th annual Polar Bear Run is a Peachtree Qualifier road race featuring a flat course in East Cobb County and chip timing by Horizon Race Solutions. The race will be held rain, snow or shine - Don’t miss it!

Registration Fees:

5K

  • $30 through Wednesday, January 14
  • $35 late registration, through Friday, January 23.

Cub Events                -

  • $25 (ages 2-5) ($30 late registration through Friday, January 23
  • $40 race day registration

Polar Bear Fan Club     

  • $35 (Don't make me sweat, just send me my shirt) 


Registration
Register online (ACTIVE.com), by mail (entries must be received by Tuesday, January 20) or in person. Walk-in registration available at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church and Big Peach Running Co. (Marietta, Johnson Ferry Rd).

Results and  Awards

5K awards will be presented to overall male and female winners, masters male and female winners, and top three male and female finishers in 16 age categories from 10 and under to 80 and over. Ribbons will be awarded to Cub Run and Cub Dash participants. Team award, Polar Bear Pack, for largest registering team!

Race Number and Packet Pick-up

Early race numbers and packets may be picked up at Big Peach Running Co. in Marietta, GA (1062 Johnson Ferry Rd) on Friday, January 23 from 12 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Packet pick up is also available on January 24 (race day) in the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church Activities Center from 7-8:15 a.m. All shirts (with the exception of "Polar Bear Fan Club" shirts) will be distributed before the race. Race packets may be picked up by a third party only with copy of the participating individual's ID. No shirts can be guaranteed after the race.

5K Race: 8:30am

Cub Run: 9:40am

Cub Dash: 9:45am
