Description

TryTri is a family friendly company, designed to ensure competitors and spectators alike have a great family day out. With events for first timers, those new to the sport, as well as more experienced athletes looking for a chip timed event.

Basingstoke Triathlon:

Set in the centre of Basingstoke at the Leisure park. 

Swim in the shallow, beginner friendly 6 lane pool with only 4 people per lane. You will get to swim with people of similar ability, so don’t worry about it being too intimidating. 

Cycle around the rural villages and roundabouts of Worting, before heading back to the leisure park grounds. 

Transition is multi-level in the main car park, making it easy for you to find your bike in a hurry. The run is slightly hilly with one long drag down out of the leisure park and back up again. It is a combination of footpath and running around the flat school playing fields. With lots of opportunities for your spectators to cheer you on. 

The finish is located close to the lap point which makes for interesting spectating with all the competitors expressions. Once you have crossed through the gantry and over the finish line your bespoke medal awaits you.
