Description

Brought to you by the team behind successful and well-regarded events in Oxford, Chester and Yorkshire, Bike Bath is a day of marked rides of 25, 50 and 80 miles taking in the best scenery of Bath and the surrounding countryside. As an entrant you will benefit from:

  • A timing chip to record your time;
  • Fully signed routes with a back up route map and GPS files;
  • Feed stations showcasing the best produce from local food and drink suppliers;
  • Post ride food and a bar at the event village;
  • A free event photo.

2019 entry fees are £36 for the two long routes and £26 for the short route for adults with children being charged £15. There will be a booking charge on all entries and an early bird discount until December 31st 2018.

Location

The start/finish area will be at The Recreation Ground (the Rec) on William Street.

Parking

There is no parking at the venue and we advise parking in The Newbridge Park and Ride.

Accommodation

If you require accomodation over the weekend, Bath has a wide varities of hotels and guest houses available. You wiill find some great suggestions at visitbath.com.

Saturday afternoon

We will be open for collection of timing chips and rider numbers from 16:30 to 18:00 at the Event Village.

Sunday Morning

07:30 - 10:15 Arrive at the venue and leave your bike in the secure bike park while you sign in to collect your timing chips and rider numbers. If you need to leave a bag there will be a bag drop available.

When you’re ready to go please grab your bike and make your way to the start area where riders will be briefed and released in groups of 20 as follows:

  07:30 - 08:30 - 80 milers

  08:30 - 09:30 - 50 milers

  09:30 - 10:15 - 25 milers

Along the route you will find clear signage, feed stations and first aid support. There will also be paramedic support riders roaming the course on their motorbikes to provide assistance if required.

Sunday Afternoon

We will have a range of food vendors and a licensed bar at the finish so please join your fellow riders for food and drink.
