The Cani-Fit eXperience IX is back!
We are returning to one of our favourtie locations - Bowland Trails, purpose built dog running trails, set in the stunning rural Blairgowire. A venue not to be missed, built for running dogs specifically!
Racing Sunday morning into early afternoon , with Bikes /Scooter off first, then adult canicross, followed by Novice canicross then kids last .
Bowland Trails, are grass trails, that weave and wind thorugh forestry, undualting, scenic and perfect surface for running dogs.
Set in approximately 90 hectares at an altitude of 250 meters our trails provide a huge opportunity to see the countryside from a very different perspective!
Canicross Races: Dogs must be over 12 months to compete. All distances are approx

Bikejor Races: Over 16 years only and dogs must be over 12 months to compete. Bikejor allows 1 dog per team.
Dog Scooter : Over 16 years only and dogs must be over 12 months to compete. Scooter allows 1-2 dogs per team.
These sports are all dog powered sports, and whether your dog runs by your side, or pulls way out in front they should be in a comfortable fitting harness and attached to the runner. Only in exceptional cases will we allow a dog to canicross in a collar. If in doubt get in touch.
All dogs in bikejor and scooter class must be in appropriate equipment, harness for dog is essential. Riders must wear a helmet, gloves are adviseable.
Please check that all your equipment is in full working order before racing.
Dogs who wear a muzzle whilst running, must have an open basket, or grey hound racing type muzzle, one that allows opening of mouth fully.
Please note dogs can only enter one class per day with the addition of a Jnr class, it is down to the owner to ensure the dog is fit and able to run both classes.
Junior under 10 years must have an adult with them during race.
Camping available Sat night on course at £5 per vehicle per night. (pay at registration, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a pitch) . Camping at side of main road, space for tents, vans and motorhomes. Please note this is a rural location and no running water is available you must come prepared with water for your dog. Toilets on site. All dogs must be kept on leads at all time in the Estate, wildlife and cattle are roaming.
Facilities: Toilets , hot food van, please bring your own water.
Briefing (Sun) will take place at 8.45 am
Prizes - There will be a prize giving after the last race is finished and all times are calculated.
CANCELLATIONS – Should you be unable to attend the event then please contact the organiser by email as an official waiting list may be in place. To claim a refund should competitor(s) be unable to attend please send a self addressed stamped envelope to the organiser. Any requests for refunds must be made 30 days prior to the event date, this will be entry fee minus costs the organiser has incurred. Should the event need to be cancelled for reasons out with the organiser’s control a refund will be available again minus costs the organiser has incurred. If the event is postponed then the entry can be transferred to the rearranged event. NOTE the organiser is unable to transfer entries to other runners.
