Canonteign Waterfalls: Lower Ashton, Exeter, United Kingdom
Canonteign Waterfalls 220ft Abseil - The Royal British Legion
This is your chance to abseil 220ft down England's highest waterfall, Canonteign Falls near Exeter, Devon. The views from the top of the waterfall are absolutely stunning. It's a great place to also bring the family when you come.
The waterfall is situated on the edge of Dartmoor's National Park, in the heart of Devon's Teign Valley, offering some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in Devon.
No experience is necessary and full training will be given by our professional abseil suppliers on the day prior to your abseil. However we must emphasise that this is an extreme challenge. You will need to be fit to take part as the day includes a 15-20 minute walk up a steep ascent. You must be confident on your feet to be able to get to the top of the abseil and climb over a fence.
Minimum age to take part is 16 years old. All children taking part under the age of 18yrs, must have a signed parent/guardian consent form and must be accompanied by a responsible adult/parent or guardian on the day of the abseil. Maximum weight is 18 stone (due to harness sizes)
Full information about what you need to bring and where you need to go/abseil time etc will be included with your fundraising welcome pack after registering for the event.
Further information will be sent to you soon after registering for the event.
