All routes will begin and end at the Cave City Convention Center:

• 12-mile loop is a family-friendly ride east of Cave City on roads that are not too busy or hilly, including Salem Church Road and Old Munfordville Road. ($15 individual; $25 for family)

• 45- and 62-mile routes feature rolling terrain at the beginning and end, with the hills of Mammoth Cave National Park in the mid-section of each route. ($30 individual; $45 for two). See www.strava.com/routes/4644498 and  www.strava.com/routes/4644478.

• water stations will be at local attractions, including Horse Cave, the Caver Camp Store, Rock Cabin Camp, Porky Pig Diner, and Bells Tavern Park Pavilion.

• participants will receive a food voucher for Cave City Proud Days.

Event details and schedule

Course Information:

62 mile: The route leaves Cave City heading east, winding through the rolling hills of Barren and Hart counties, past cattle farms and through historic Horse Cave. After 20 miles, the route starts climbing Flint Ridge to the Mammoth Cave area, continuing through the heavy woods of MCNP, past the Visitor Center and cave entrances, winding down into the Green River basin, and exiting the Park via Cedar Sink, turning east at Pig, and climbing back up toward Chaumont and across the southernpark boundary, finally leaving the Park via the original gateway corridor, passing Diamond Caverns on the way to Park City, passing the newly restored Grand Victorian Inn and the ruins of historic Bells Tavern. The route now levels out into the gentle rolling hills of Barren County cattle country, crossing the sinkhole plain on the return to Cave City.  See www.strava.com/routes/4644478

45 mile: The route leaves Cave City heading east, winding through the rolling hills of Barren and Hart counties, past cattle farms and through historic Horse Cave.
