Description

Halloween Comes Early in Prescott with Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation’s 12th Annual Costumes for Kids 5K & Halloween Fest

Grab your costumes and join us Saturday, October 24th, 2026, at Courthouse Square for a festive 5K winding through beautiful, historic downtown Prescott.

Not up for the 5K? No problem! We also have a 1-mile Fun Run around Courthouse Square plus plenty of activities for all ages.

• Enjoy music from Fly by Night Entertainment.
• Play games and win prizes from our amazing vendors.
• Cheer on runners, socialize, and soak up the Halloween spirit.

Snacks and drinks will be free, and there will be prizes for:

• Best boy’s and girl’s costume

• Best adult male and female costume

• Best group costume

It’s the perfect family outing, complete with game booths and seasonal fun. Costume attire isn’t required but is definitely encouraged.

• Kids under 16 and foster/kinship families run FREE!
• Team registration discounts are available.

This event is untimed and designed to be fun for the entire family. Bring your friends and family! You won’t want to miss this ghoulishly good time!

Event details and schedule

9:00AM -  Runner and volunteer sign in, walk up registartion, T-shirt sales, games, and snacks.

10:00AM - 5K Race begins

10:05AM - 1 Mile Run Run begins

10:06AM - Music, game booths,  and socialization.

11:30 AM - Awards for best costumes, race time awards, free food, and socialization. 

12:00 PM - Event ends
