Brain Tumour Research's Gran Union Canal Walk 2017!
Once again we have our wonderful 11 mile Canal Walk on the beautiful Grand Union Canal from The Three Locks Pub Stoke Hammond through to The Grove Locks Leighton Buzzard. We stop off for a drink where you are welcome to bring a picnic that can be consumed along the canal (partnerships with the pubs have been very sucessful so please respect this and do not consume picnics on or near the pub grounds) , before returning back to The Three Locks in Stoke Hammond.
This event is designed to be a slow paced family event where all can be involved and meet other friends and supporters of Brain Tumour Research. It is a fundraising event where we ask individuals to raise £100 sponsorship with the aim of funding a day of vital research on brain tumours. Please note that those below the age of 18 must be the responsibility of an accompanying adult.
Together, we can make a difference to the 16,000 people in the UK diagnosed with a brain tumour every year.
