Join our team for one of the world's biggest half marathons and make a real difference to the lives of disabled people in your area.

Each year we have a large team taking part and we'd love to have you with us!

Event details and schedule

The world's leading half marathon, the Great North Run, was first staged in 1981 where just over 12,000 people took part on the 13.1 mile course from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields; with entries reaching 57,000 people in 2015.
