Come out and run or walk in the IN THEIR SHOES 10K at the UGA Intramural Fields in Athens GA, benefiting the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support. The Loran Smith Center provides support to cancer patients and their families before, during, and after treatment. All services such as workshops, counseling, exercise and art therapy classes are free thanks to the generosity of people like you!
Start and Finish at the Intramural fields. 10K route is on all paved streets winding through the UGA campus.
Race day registration fee is $45 for everyone, so register early for discounts.
Early Registration and Packet Pickup: Friday 10/6 from 3PM to 7PM at Loran Smith Center, 240 Talmadge Dr., Athens, GA 30606.
Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7AM at the UGA Intramural Fields
10K: Starts at 8:30AM
Awards: Awards for the top male and female and overall Masters Male and Female finishers. Age Group awards will be 3 deep in standard age groups beginning with 10 and under to 75 and over.
Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com, and www.coolrunning.com.
Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 9/1/17. Those who register after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size. There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.
Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
