Description

The King City Color Run/Walk is approximately a 1 mile run/walk through Veterans Park benefitting Lifeboat Alliance. Lifeboat Alliance is a local homeless shelter that provides a helping hand to those weathering life's storms since 2010. Please join us June 16th for our very first Color Run for A Cause!
 
The race cirlces Veterans Park with Sponsored Color Stations along the way. Each sponsor has a unique product from a LOCAL business! Stop by their booths to say hello and get in on any drawings or prizes they may offer! Good vibes will be emitted from the DJ booth as we kick off the morning with a Zumba session to get the crowd moving. A color toss will kick off the race and all participants are invited to take before and after photos at the Photo Booth. Lunch will be available on site from Billy Bobs BBQ Food Truck and...? Enjoy a pre race snack and post race victory lunch!
 
All profits from this event will go to Lifeboat Alliance. Donations are accepted at the time of registration or on the day of the event.

Registration begins at 10am

There will be 3-4 tables by last name to keep check in moving. You will get your Race Kit at check in. Early pickups are available with confirmed arrangements. Watch Facebook for Early Pick Up announcements.

Your Race Kit will include: Event T Shirt with Care Instructions, Sunglasses, Bracelet, Color Toss packet and more from our sponsors. ***YOU MUST BE REGISTERED BY MAY 1ST TO GET A RACE KIT ON RACE DAY!***

Zumba with Melanie starts at 10:30am

Entertainment by DJ C.E.B.Y. IV with S & B Productions

The Color Run will begin at 11:15am. A Color Toss will kick off the race! Depending on how many runners/walkers attend race day, we will release groups every 15-20 seconds to keep a steady pace on the track.

Make sure to stop by the Photo Booth before and after the race!

After the Race, visit a Blow Off Station to get the excess color off.

Billy Bobs BBQ and...??? will be on site for the entire event! Stop by their food truck for lunch anytime.

Participants can walk or run the race. This is not a timed event. 

Parking is limited at Veterans Park so please carpool if you can with friends and family so everyone can find a spot.

There is no dress code for this event but we have a few suggestions to make the race more enjoyable for everyone:

Bring a sheet/fitted sheet/towel for your car and the return trip home

Ziploc bags for your phones

Plastic Bag for your Event T Shirt to preserve the color. Use care instructions in Race Kit

Bandana for your nose/mouth

Fun outfits are encouraged: TuTu's, Hats, Crazy Socks, Headbands--anything goes!
