Lifestyle Fitness Center: 405 S Hwy 44/76, Caledonia, United States
The 5K Run/Walk is a family friendly event that takes you through the streets of Caledonia, MN. For those of you that aren't runners, feel free to bring the kids and bikes and strollers and walk at your own pace. The event takes place the same day as the Bluff and Country Balloon Rally so come and see the hot air balloons. Hot air balloon baskets will start you off, see you through the half way point, and be there for you at the end of the course.
The proceeds from this event will go to the family of Josiah Schroeder to help with expenses as he continues his 3+ year treatment plan for T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Josiah is the 7 year old son of Kyle and Jana Schroeder of Caledonia. He is currently a 1st grader at St. John's Lutheran School in Caledonia and has 3 younger sisters, Savannah (5), Sophia (3), and Adalynn (2).
Josiah loves sports, whether is is playing them or watching them. His favorite teams are the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and the Minnesota Gophers. He also loves farming with his dad and playing with his family and friends.
This 5k will be a very kid-friendly event and will have a carnival theme. We encourage kids to ride their bikes along their parents on the route and to wear green and/or orange (green being Josiah's favorite color and orange for leukemia awareness). There will be live DJ, sport themed carnival games, face painting, a popcorn, ice cream and slushee machine, grilled food and a bake sale for everyone to enjoy. For the adults, there will be a beer and Bloody Mary bar by Elsie's.
Join in JJ's fight and help line the streets in green and orange. A cinch bag will be included with your registration.

Registration will begin at 8:30am and the event will start at 10:00am.
