Description

On March 13th we made the decision to cancel the 10K race due to low enrollment.

Your favorite duathlon is back, and we are keeping 10K road race option.

Start Time: 10:00 am.

Packet Pick up 8:30 am - 9:45 am.

USAT sanctioned. First-time duathletes are welcome and we expect some serious racing as well. Run 2 miles, bike 12 miles and run 2 miles. The run is dead flat. The bike has one challenging hill.

We begin north of the LHS track. Run a lollipop course through town. Transition. Bike north of town: out, loop, and back. Transition. Repeat 2 mile run

The 10K run course is flat with one honest hill.

Duathlon Awards to top 3 men and women and top 3 age-division finishers for males and females: Under 19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, etc. Awards to top 3 Male team, 3 Female team, and 3 Mixed team.

10K Awards to top male and female and top 3 age-division finishers for males and females: Under 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, etc.

Duathlon is USAT sanctioned. USAT rules require bar ends to be plugged, no charge.

Fees

Online Registration ends Wednesday, April 5 at 11:59 pm: Individual Du $55, Team Du $80 or 10K run  $30

On-Site Registration: Individual Du $60, Team Du $85 or 10K run $35

In case of dangerous cycling conditions the Duathlon will convert to the 10K run. No refunds. 

The race director(s) reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the race due to adverse conditions that make the race unsafe. In the event the race is cancelled, there will be no refunds. Awards and shirts will not be mailed.

Directions to Litchfield High School

 From I-55, take Exit 52 toward Litchfield
-Continue East on Illinois Route 16/Union Avenue
-Turn Left on State Street, High School will be at end of street on the Left

 From Hillsboro
-Take West Illinois Route 16 to Litchfield
-Turn Right on State St., High School will be at end of street on the Left

Packet Pick up 8:30 am to 9:45 am. Races start at 10 am.

Parking north of the high school.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DUATHLON ONLY:

Please have your photo ID and your USAT membership card if you are a member. If you can not show your membership card, you will be required to purchase a 1-day pass.

If you purchased a 1-day pass during registration, please bring that information and your photo ID.

If you cannot show your USAT membership card, you will be required to purchase a 1-day pass.

If you are not a USAT member you will need to purchase a 1-day pass during registration.

Races start at 10:00 am.
You must have a bike helmet to participate in the Du.

Bar ends must be plugged.
