Jubilee Public House: 41A Hatton Hill Rd, Liverpool, United Kingdom
Join us as we stroll along the banks of the Leeds Liverpool Canal, from Litherland to the Running Horses pub, Moss Nook, Lydiate and back again.
This is a lovely event for all the family and if you choose, you can enjoy a pub lunch at the halfway point, with a 20% discount for all walkers.
The total distance is 10.2 miles and we will return to our starting point.
Individual Registration fee £10
Registration fee includes tee shirts and medals.
A fabulous, fun event that will raise funds to take us one step further to finding a cure for brain tumours.
We will meet in the car park at the Jubilee Pub at 9.30am and join the canal to walk 5.1 miles. You can stop to purchase refreshments and then walk back to our starting point.
The route is mostly suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs dogs and families, and is along the canal towpaths, so remember to bring sturdy shoes and suitable clothing. It’s always a good idea to bring a waterproof in case of rain, water to keep yourself hydrated and sun cream in case it is a hot day.
Registration will take place upon arrival and numbers will be allocated to all participants. There will be a quick paperwork check to make sure we have waivers and emergency contact numbers etc.
Parking is available just at the entrance to the canal and is free.
