Sudeley Castle: Winchcombe, Cheltenham, United Kingdom
Back for the 4th year in the Cotswold Hills, Britain’s first and biggest AONB, as well as the most quintessentially English place we’ve ever seen! Leaving from the grand Sudeley Castle in the heart of the Cotswold Hills and set in 1200 acres of estate land, this won’t be a walk in the park. Sitting nicely down in the bottom of a valley, the only way is up. It’ll be worth it though as the surrounding area is everything you’d expect to see from rural middle England. With technical single track, wooded trails and some locally famous national routes on the Cotswold Way, Gloucestershire Way and the Winchcombe Way. The course won’t allow you to switch off for a second, but you’ll be thankful for that as it’ll allow you to take in your surroundings which you won’t want to miss.
Why not bring the family to take a wander around the beautiful Castle and Gardens. Sudeley is the only privately owned castle in England to have a queen buried in the garden – Katherine Parr, 6th wife of Henry VIII.
