Padarn Country Park: The Quarry Hospital, Llanberis, United Kingdom
We welcome you to a whole New Series the Maverick inov-8 X series events are designed to test your resolve and take you to the upper limits of your abilities, we venture to
The Snowdonia National Park known as Eryri by Welsh a name that can be translated as “the place of the eagles”.
The park which covers 838 square miles is one of the three natural parks found in Wales and the oldest one being designated as one in 1951. The area of the Snowdonia National Park has so much to offer the trail runner that if you are visiting it for the first time you will wonder why it took you so long to do it.
The Marathon route will summit Mt Snowdon and see you head down and cross over and tackle the mighty Glyder Faw this will be your second Peak at 1000m, we are pretty confident that this is actually the toughest Marathon that snowdonia has seen.
The landscape is breathtaking and unique. There are nine mountain ranges here and they cover over half of the national park’s surface.
But the mountains are not the only reason people are enchanted by this landscape. There are many river gorges, waterfalls and valleys. Forests are filled with ash, oak, rowan and hazel trees.
We have 3 routes for you to choose from, please select carefully the X-Series is not for the Faint hearted.
