Description

ARNNE, Animal Rescue Network of New England, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Fed. ID#20-0258291. Our Mission is quite simple; to create a unified network of shelters and rescue organizations throughout New England. It is common, everyday practice to have to kill dogs in an overcrowded shelter to make room for incoming animals.  Meanwhile in another shelter across town or across state borders, there are no dogs available for adoption.  An opportunity for a pet to find a “forever” home is lost, because it sits waiting just a few miles away.  By transporting animals from high traffic, overcrowded shelters to more remote shelters that have waiting lists for incoming dogs, we can save lives.

Each year we hold events such as the 5K trail run where the money we raise has gone to help cover expenses for the care of our ARNNE dogs. As in the past the success of our fundraising events has largely been due to the contributions of our sponsors who have gone out of their way to lend a financial support to these events.  We are inviting you to help sponsor our 5th Annual Mile for Mutts 5K held Sept 23rd 2018.
