The Milne Bay Military Challenge is an endurance running/walking event through the National Parks of Toowoomba. It will be staged for the third year on the 28th April 2019 and raises funds for Toowoomba based charities.

The event is open to individuals or teams of 2, 3 or 4 people taking on either the 7km, 15km or the 30km course. The event commences at Webb Park at 7:00am (corner of Campbell and Dudley Streets) and has a 9 hour time limit. There are 3 checkpoints along the 15km course, and those competitors stepping up to tackle the 30km will do the course loop twice!

We also have school categories in the Challenge: the 7km course, 15km course and the 30km course.

The event honours the hallowed memory of the many men who voluntarily enlisted from the Downs, and who entrained at, or passed through Toowoomba to become members of the 2/25th Battalion.
