This memorial bicycle ride around the metro area stops at memorial sites and locations that mark the ultimate sacrifice that has been made by one of Minnesota's fallen officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
The ride starts at Plymouth Fire Station #3 at 3300 Dunkirk Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55447. To start, we will travel through Plymouth to various memorial stops and then into St. Paul and conclude at the Peace Officer Memorial. There, the group will participate in a memorial ceremony and wreath laying with members of MN Concerns of Police Survivors, survivors, and metro area law enforcement officers.
After the ceremony, riders will load their bikes into the Team MN trailer and board a coach bus to head back to Plymouth. Once riders arrive back at the start, a lunch will be provided.
This ride is fully supported (mechanical, medical, security) with a pace of 12-13 MPH.
Check-in and same day registration will start at 7:00 am
Helmets are MANDATORY, you will not be able to participate without one
This year's route is approximately 35 miles with 1200' of climbing. There will be 3 stops along the route prior to getting to the peace Officer's Memorial. The first segement is approximately 5 miles, the second segment is approximately 12-13 miles, the third segement is approximately 9 miles and the final segemnt being approximately 9 miles. Please train and be mentally/physically prepared for this event. Additionally, check and make sure your bicycle is in sound, mechanical working order.
