Description

The National Homeschool Honor Society is partnering with the Alzheimer's Association to bring you a 5k that is for a great cause. Alzheimer's is a disease which hits close to home for everyone, and the funds from this event will go towards helping people who have Alzheimer's as well as funding research for a cure. But not only is this 5k for a great cause, it is also an event that will be fun for the whole family while being open to elite competition. The course at Clinton Farms is used by many high schools in the state of Georgia and is well known as a fast course. So whether your looking for a PR, or you just want to run for a good cause. This is the race for you!

Event details and schedule

  • The 5K starts at 8:30 AM on March 17, 2017
  • Same day registration availible starting at 7:30 AM for a cost of $35
  • The course is a two loop 5k trail circuit
  • The park is located about 5 minutes off I-20 and is easily accesible
  • Parking will be located on site
  • The Alzheimer's is welcoming donations even if you do not want to participate in the 5k
  • Wear comfortible running clothes and shoes that fit the weather conditions of the event-Please check the weather before attending
