The Starr Institute's FIRST ReDiscover HER Light 5K Run + Walk will be held on the beautiful trails of Tribble Mill Park. Participation in this event supports girls who are survivors of domestic minor sex trafficking. All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to The Starr Institute, Inc. Our mission is to to empower girls who have survived sexual abuse to lead fulfilling lives by creating an environment that renews, reeducates, redirects the mind, body, and soul, encourages health, and fosters wholeness. The Starr Institute's goal is to provide comprehensive victim services to girl survivors of domestic minor sex trafficking in residential safe homes.
Come out prepared to run or walk and have fun! This is family friendly event. Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners for both female and male category. Your registration automatically places you in the running for one of three prizes that will be raffled off.

Event Schedule: The race will begin at 9:00am. For those participants who have pre-registered, upon arrival visit the pre-registered booth to receive your t-shirt. For those participants needing to register, please visit the On-site registration table. On-site registration and t-shirt distribution will begin at 8:00am.
Course Info: All parts of the race will occur within the park. Start and finish line will be located near the large Pavilion.
Arrival Info: When arriving in the park, follow all signage to the appropriate assembly area. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to commencement of race, to ensure a timely event.
Parking Info: Parking is available on site.
What to Wear: Dress comfortable, athletic attire.
Prizes: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in the categories of male and female. 3 raffle prizes will be announced at the winner's ceremony.
