Description

Center for Wildlife Studies (CWS) is holding its 4th annual Run Wild! fundraiser in cooperation with Marshall Wharf Brewing Company in Belfast, Maine. This year’s events are a 5K out-and-back or 10K loop using the Belfast Rail Trail and rural roads along the Passagassawakeag River. After the race, cash in your beer ticket, tie-dye your t-shirt (both part of the registration fee) at Marshall Wharf Brewery who will host the Grateful Dead tribute band Dead on the Water. CWS will award prizes for top finishers and best wildlife costumes. Come jam with us!

Funds from the race go to supporting wildlife conservation in Maine and the Center for Wildlife Studies' commitment to delivering education programs in the region to encourage environmental awareness and stewardship.

This event is one of six events in the RunBelfast 2025 race series held in Belfast, Maine (more at https://www.runbelfast.org/).  The series includes:  Paces for PAWS 5K - Jun 14; Lions Kilted Canter 5K - Jul 19; Rotary Bug Run 5K - August 16; CWS Run Wild! 5K and 10K - Sep 13; WCHV Hospice Volunteers 5K - Oct 4; and Lions Ghostly Gallop - October 25.
