The Jesse Meredith Memorial Run & Soldier Shuffle is to commemorate, Jesse Meredith, who was a member of the Indiana National Guard. Stephany Meredith, his wife, also served in the National Guard. Stephany and Jesse had two young children when Jesse committed suicide as a result of his PTSD.

To find out more about about PTSD and helpful information for our veterans and their families, please visit this link  -- About Face. This site contains videos wherby Veterans, family members, and clinicians share their experiences with PTSD and PTSD treatment.

April 29th is the anniverary of Jesse's suicide. Stephany has carried forward in sharing the message for families that you are not alone and to share hope. Stephany and three of her colleagues who serve the mission of not-for-profit veteran's organizations came together for the cause and to commemorate all of our fallen soldiers.

This 5K walk/run event and 50-mile motorcyle run is a family event and will include activities for all ages to include face painting, a balloon artist, and a visit by a few of the Indianapolis Colts' Cheerleaders, as well as associate veteran's organizations sharing their information and message. An optional Post-Race BBQ and Party will follow immediately after the race. The cost of the BBQ Post-Party is $10 PP and tickets are available for purchase at the race registration site. Early bird registration ends on 4.26.2018 at midnight.

We encourage corporate teams and family teams. This event is set at the beautiful Sunset Hill Park in Northwest Indiana. Mark your calendars for April 29, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, as this is sure to become a fun-filled family event to support our veterans past, present, and future.

Are you running to honor a fallen solider? Please send their photo as we are working on a memorial for the event. You may send an email with a photo
