Swim for Life 10K

Can you take on the Bristol Channel Challenge?

Saturday 29th September – National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty – 11.00am – 4.00pm

Help us make a splash by swimming across the Bristol Channel. Don’t worry though- you won’t actually have to swim shore to shore in open water! The challenge is taking place in the less cold, less salty environment of The National Lido of Wales, Lido Pont on the 29th of September.

The challenge gives you the chance to take on distances of 1K, 5K or the full 10k which is the equivalent distance from Cardiff Bay Barrage to Weston-Super-Mare. You can set a personal target and take on the challenge alone OR you can amass a team of family and friends and take on the challenge relay style! Teams must be made up of 2-5 people and each person must be registered. The registration fee is £12.00. For teams of 4 swimmers or more registration is £10.00 per person. Under 16’s swim for FREE.

You won’t have to miss out on the famous landmarks either! Our immersive event allows you to pass the Norwegian Church, Flat Holm Island, Clifton Suspension bridge and many more.

This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself while supporting people with cancer, and their loved ones. Signing up to Swim for Life couldn’t be easier;
