  • RACE DISTANCE - 2KM SWIM
  • RACE DISTANCE - 5KM SWIM
  • RACE DISTANCE - 8KM SWIM

Description

Did you know that there are fourteen volcanos on Camiguin (Philvolcs number), only one of which remains on the active list.

The volcanic island has so much to offer including

  • Black sand beaches (the result of eruptions)
  • A sunken cemetery now overgrown with coral after sinking into the ocean in 1871
  • Thriving reefs where you can catch sight of up to 15 sea turtles in one morning
  • Waterfalls and dormant volcano hikes
  • And a striking white sandbar which we have the pleasure of swimming to or from on race day.

A modern national road runs the circumference of the island, a total of 60Km around. This allows you to go from grills by the seashore to a breezy mountain cafe in 30minutes.

This is our FOURTH year in Camiguin and we are excited to introduce even more swimmers to the beauty of this less-visited (not for long!) but amazing island.
