Description

The Pink Season 2026 – 5K Walk & Pink Golf Cart Parade brings together the Palmas del Mar community and its guests for an inspiring celebration of hope, awareness, solidarity, and purpose.

Created by a breast cancer survivor with a desire to give back, The Pink Season supports women facing the challenges that can follow a mastectomy and helps turn community participation into meaningful support.

Participants can join the 5K Walk, 1 Mile Walk, Kids 1 Mile Walk, Pink Paws, or Pink Golf Cart Parade, with a route beginning at Wyndham Palmas Beach & Golf Boutique Resort and traveling through the beautiful surroundings of Palmas del Mar and its golf course areas.

Funds designated for the charitable purpose of this initiative will benefit the Maripili García Foundation, helping provide access to breast reconstruction surgery for mastectomy patients facing financial hardship.

Start & Finish: Wyndham Palmas Beach & Golf Boutique Resort

⏰ EVENT SCHEDULE

👕 1:00–3:00 PM | Registration, Check-In & Participant Packet Pick-Up

Hotel Lobby | Wyndham Palmas

👟 3:45 PM | 1-Mile Walk Start

🎀 4:00 PM | 5K Walk & Pink Golf Cart Parade Start

Please arrive early enough to park, check in, pick up your participant packet and be ready before your scheduled start. 

🚗 PARKING & TRANSPORTATION 

Parking will be available for event participants.

Upon arrival, security personnel will direct you to designated parking areas. Transportation to and from Wyndham Palmas will be available from designated parking areas as needed.

 Please follow all security and traffic instructions.

Enjoy the beautiful golf course views along the way!

🩷 Pink Golf Carts will escort our 5K participants along the shared portion of the route and follow their designated golf cart route before reconnecting near Hole 2.

Please follow the Official Route Map and all directions from volunteers and safety personnel.

🐾 PINK PAWS

 Four-legged participants are welcome!

For their safety and the safety of everyone participating, dogs MUST remain on a leash at all times.

 Dogs without a leash will NOT be permitted to participate.  Dogs should be comfortable around crowds, children and other animals. Please bring water for your pet and keep them under your control and supervision throughout the event.

🩷 PINK GOLF CART PARADE

 Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of their golf carts and must follow the designated route and all event and security instructions.

Passengers must remain properly seated while the cart is moving, and occupancy may not exceed the safe rated capacity of the golf cart.

👧 CHILDREN

Children must remain accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

🎀 BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS

 If you are a breast cancer survivor, please make sure we know you’ll be joining us so we can recognize and celebrate you.

 You are one of the reasons we walk.

🍻 AND, AS ALWAYS… ONE MORE SURPRISE! 

When you cross the finish line, something fun will already be waiting for you! 

Wyndham Palmas will be celebrating the 3rd Edition of its Oktoberfest, an event independently hosted by Wyndham Palmas.

And because it happens right in the middle of The Pink Season, we couldn’t be more excited about the welcome waiting for us at the finish line.

For us, it feels a little like… 🎀 “PINKtober” FEST! 🍻

Admission is FREE!

Wyndham invites you to stay, relax and enjoy the rest of the afternoon with music, amenities, family, friends and our Palmas community.  Food and beverage consumption tickets will be available for purchase directly through Wyndham Palmas.

Cross the finish line… and stay for the celebration!

💗 REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY 

The Pink Season 5K & Pink Golf Cart Parade is a community support fundraising event, and your registration is considered a contribution in support of our mission.

Registration fees are generally non-refundable, as funds are committed to the event and its fundraising purpose. Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually when appropriate.

If you are unable to participate, your registration will remain as a donation to the fundraising initiative.

Funds raised through The Pink Season help support breast cancer patients with expenses related to breast reconstruction after cancer through Fundación Maripili García, Inc.
