Description

The ever popular Timberhonger 10k, new for this year the 5K, and Children's Challenge are part of Bromsgrove Carnival weekend.  The Saturday evening races has become a highlight of the Bromsgrove sporting calendar and benefits from big crowds at the finish to cheer runners to the line creating a friendly and family atmosphere.  

The 10K course is a challenging one and the mile long hill before the finish has become infamous. But runners love it really.  The course itself is on picturesque country lanes which are closed to traffic throughout.  

The 5K is a similarly challenging course including the infamous Timberhonger hill and a small section of offroad trail.

Both the 10K and 5K races are chip timed and all finishers receive a bespoke medal and a can of beer (over 18s).

The Children's Challenge is a fun run of approximately 1500m for under 15s, held entirely within the safe confines of Sanders Park. All finishers get a bespoke race medal, just like the adults.
