Houwteq campus: High Rising Road, Grabouw, South Africa
The first Tough Mudder event on African soil takes place on the 15-16th September 2018 at Houwteq, a decommissioned military facility in the Elgin Valley.
The Tough Mudder event village will be located within the boundaries of the Houwteq Campus and the neighbouring Old Mac Daddy mountain resort, and will play host to Tough Mudder VIP’s as well as accommodate a number of obstacles on the Tough Mudder Full and Half courses.
There are three events – Tough Mudder Full, Tough Mudder Half and Tougher Mudder for those with a competitive spirit.
The Tough Mudder Full follows is a 16 km course with no less than 20 World Class obstacles, including the Arctic Enema and Electro Shock Therapy.
The Tough Mudder Half is run along an 8 km course with 13 of the obstacles the event is known for in 9 countries around the world.
The Tougher Mudder is a timed event where participants compete for honours over the 16km and 20+ obstacles. This category also serves as a qualifier for the Toughest Mudder series – an 8 hour night OCR and the World’s Toughest Mudder – a 24 hour OCR.
Tough Mudder South Africa is destined to become the premier OCR, testing both professional athletes and passionate OCR participants. It is an exceptional team building event for any size of business.
