Our Victoria Park route is predominantly flat and on paths, so is ideal for all ages and fitness levels.  Enjoy the park's lovely scenery in the heart of East London as you run around this beautifully leafy and award winning well kept park. Victoria Park one of London oldest open spaces and  is a fantastic location for a Sunday morning run.

Opening times

Victoria Park opens at 7am and closes at dusk. The specific times are on the notice boards at all park entrances.


How to get there

Nearest underground station: Mile End 

From Mile End station: turn left and cross over Mile End Road. Turn right onto Grove Road – it’s about 10-15 minutes walk straight down. Alternatively, you can also walk most of the way through Mile End Park, which runs parallel to Grove Road. You will first arrive at the Crown Gates.


Nearest rail stations: Cambridge Heath/Hackney Wick station


From Hackney Wick Station: Exit the station and cross the road heading down Wallis Road. Head up and over the footpath crossing the dual carriage way and you will arrive at Cadogan Gate.

From Cambridge Heath Station: Take a left out of the station heading along Cambridge Heath Road, then turn right onto Bishop's Way. Following this road will lead you to Bonner Gate.


Alternatively, on Grove Road you can catch bus 277 or 425 to the middle of the park.



Equipment and what to wear

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a running event. Trainers and ventilated tops are recommended.  The race is in January and it might be very cold so please bring some warm clothes for before and after the event.



Friends and family are very welcome to come along and encourage you around the course. Please keep dogs, on tight leads.
