Wales: Aberystwyth University, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom
Wales360 will challenge you physically and mentally and is likely to be the hardest event you’ve ever done. Cycling around 90km and climbing over 2,000m on predominantly off-road rolling terrain in a single day is hard. Backing this up for 6 days on the trot will require stamina and incredible determination but also restraint and the ability to find a good rhythm. Ever present will be the breath-taking scenery of mid and North Wales and some of the finest views the UK has to offer. There will be opportunities to build new enduring friendships and you’ll leave with memories to cherish for a lifetime. Wales360 will be a real adventure.
Wales360 may be a brand-new event for 2019, but Wales is already firmly established as a world class mountain biking destination, with its trails regularly named among the UK's best. It is a mountain bike mecca worth celebrating and that’s what Wales360 is all about. It is a celebration of superb mountain biking and a celebration of Wales - its mountain ranges, rolling hills and valleys, dense forests, spectacular Victorian dams and reservoirs, food, culture and language.
The route starts in Aberystwyth where rider registration will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 21st July. Riders will cover 552km over the course of the following 6 days riding, tracing a clockwise route around mid and north Wales before finishing back at Aberystwyth. The daily start and finish towns are as follows:
